Duties

Greet and welcome guests upon arrival, ensuring a friendly and inviting atmosphere. Take orders accurately and efficiently, providing recommendations when necessary. Serve food and beverages promptly, adhering to food safety standards. Assist with food preparation as needed, maintaining cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen area. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction. Handle catering requests and assist with event setups as required. Maintain the cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, floors, and service stations. Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly to enhance their dining experience.

Skills

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is highly desirable. Knowledge of food safety practices is essential to ensure compliance with health regulations. Experience as a barista is an advantage, particularly in coffee preparation and service. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. A positive attitude and a willingness to learn new skills related to catering and food preparation are crucial for success in this role. Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Zero hours contract

Pay: 12.21-13.50 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 40 per week
