Job Summary

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Front of House Staff to join our vibrant team. We are looking for over 18s to apply due to the nature of the business. The ideal candidates will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. This position requires a passion for hospitality, strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. We are looking for someone who can take the lead on weekends and assist on club events. Aswell as assisting us for external catering jobs.

We are based at Sittingbourne and Milton Regis Golf Club.

Duties

Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a friendly and positive first impression. Assist with seating arrangements and provide menus to customers. Take food and hot beverage orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all dietary requirements are noted. Serve food and beverages in a timely manner while maintaining high standards. Help with food preparation tasks when necessary, adhering to food safety guidelines. Assist in catering events, ensuring all aspects of service meet the expectations of our clients. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including tables, chairs, and service stations. Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, striving to resolve any issues promptly. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow during busy periods.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a hospitality or restaurant setting is preferred but not essential. Knowledge of food safety practices is advantageous. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with customers warmly and effectively. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required. A team player who is willing to help colleagues when needed, fostering a supportive work environment. Experience in bartending or catering is a plus but not mandatory.
