Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently Serve food and drinks in accordance with health and safety standards Provide excellent customer service, addressing any guest queries or concerns promptly Support food preparation activities when necessary, ensuring cleanliness and organisation in the service area Maintain a tidy and welcoming environment within the front of house area Handle cash transactions and operate POS systems accurately Uphold food safety standards at all times, including proper handling and storage of ingredients Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service during busy periods

Experience

Previous experience in catering, serving, or hospitality roles is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates Experience working in a restaurant environment or as a barista is desirable Knowledge of food safety regulations and procedures is advantageous Familiarity with food preparation processes and customer service best practices will be beneficial A personable approach with excellent communication skills is essential for creating a positive guest experience
