Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Front of House Staff to join our Tearoom team. As a crucial part of our establishment, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring they receive exceptional service and a warm welcome. Your role will encompass various responsibilities that contribute to the overall dining experience, making it memorable and enjoyable for all patrons.

This role will be weekend work Saturday and Sunday with potential for additional shifts during the week .

Duties

Take orders accurately and efficiently, relaying them to the kitchen staff. Serve food and beverages with attention to detail and presentation. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including tables, chairs, and service stations. Assist with food preparation as needed, adhering to food safety standards. Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism, aiming for resolution and guest satisfaction. Collaborate with team members in a fast-paced environment to ensure smooth operations during busy periods. Support catering events as required, providing excellent service to guests Assist in pot washing .

Skills

Previous experience in hospitality environment is advantageous. Knowledge of food safety practices is essential to ensure compliance with health regulations. Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service and hospitality. Ability to work effectively in a team while also demonstrating initiative when required. Experience in beverage service is desirable but not mandatory. Experience as a coffee house Barista would be advantageous. Excellent communication skills to interact positively with guests and colleagues alike. Flexibility to assist in various roles within the front of house as needed, including food preparation and catering support.
This is a permanent position candidates must be available to work a two week rota including weekends . Reliability and punctuality are essential.

Job Types: Part-time, Zero hours contract

Pay: 12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 12 - 18 per week
