Duties

Greet and seat guests in a courteous and friendly manner, ensuring a warm welcome. Take accurate food and beverage orders, providing recommendations when appropriate. Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and safety. Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, supporting the kitchen team during busy periods. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including tables, counters, and service stations. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times. Handle customer queries or complaints professionally, striving to resolve issues promptly. Support barista duties if required, including preparing specialised coffee beverages. Collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth service flow during shifts.

Qualifications

Previous experience in catering, serving, or hospitality is desirable but not essential; training will be provided. Knowledge of food safety standards is advantageous. Experience in restaurant service or barista roles is a plus. Strong communication skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour. Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy periods. A genuine interest in hospitality and delivering excellent customer service. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends if necessary.
