Responsibilities

Greet and seat guests promptly, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued. Take accurate food and beverage orders, relaying them to the kitchen staff efficiently. Serve food and drinks to guests in a timely manner, ensuring presentation meets our standards. Provide recommendations on menu items and upsell specials to enhance the dining experience. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any concerns or requests promptly. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests. Adhere to food safety regulations and hygiene standards during food preparation and service. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and timely delivery of orders.

Skills

Strong hospitality skills with a genuine desire to provide excellent guest services. Previous restaurant experience is advantageous, particularly in serving roles. Knowledge of food safety practices and culinary techniques is beneficial. Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately. Time management abilities to efficiently handle multiple tables during busy periods. Experience in food preparation or kitchen operations is a plus. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and non-verbal, to interact effectively with guests and team members.
