Must be able to work weekends.The Front of House Staff plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive dining experience for all guests. This position involves interacting with customers, managing reservations, and supporting the overall operations of the establishment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a commitment to maintaining high standards of service.

Duties

Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a friendly and inviting atmosphere. Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to optimise guest flow. Assist with food preparation and ensure adherence to food safety standards. Provide knowledgeable recommendations on menu items and beverages. Support catering operations during events, ensuring all needs are met promptly. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including dining spaces and restrooms. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service delivery. Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues with professionalism and courtesy. Assist with bartending duties as required, including preparing drinks and serving alcohol responsibly.

Skills

Previous experience in a catering or restaurant environment is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with guests. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. A proactive approach to problem-solving and helping others. Familiarity with bartending techniques is an advantage but not essential. A team player who can collaborate effectively with colleagues across various departments.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 10.00-13.50 per hour
