The Front of House Supervisor plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the front-of-house area within our establishment. This position involves overseeing staff, managing customer interactions, and maintaining high standards of service and hospitality. Duties

Supervise and coordinate daily front-of-house operations to ensure efficient service delivery. Train, mentor, and manage team members, fostering a positive work environment. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness. Assist in food preparation and cooking as needed, ensuring quality and presentation meet our standards. Manage customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to enhance guest satisfaction. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless communication between front-of-house and back-of-house operations. Maintain inventory levels for front-of-house supplies and assist in ordering when necessary. Uphold the establishment's policies and procedures while promoting a culture of teamwork.

Skills

Proven supervising experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting. Strong team management skills with the ability to lead by example. Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with guests and staff. Experience in serving customers in a fast-paced environment, ensuring high levels of service. Background in hospitality or hotel experience is advantageous. Barista experience is a plus for establishments serving coffee or specialty beverages.
