We're looking for a passionate and driven

Front of House Supervisor

to join the opening team at

Restaurant 1925

, our newly reimagined dining experience in the heart of Edinburgh. Located within the legendary Caledonian Hotel, this is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic new chapter in a historic setting.

We want someone with

The Role:

30-40 hours per week

Equal share of gratuities

Supportive, hands-on role in a close-knit team

Key Responsibilities:

Opening and closing the restaurant Cash handling and end-of-day procedures Supporting the management team in the day-to-day running of the restaurant as if it were your own Wet stock management and ordering Cost control and driving sales Maintaining consistently high levels of customer service Leading the front-of-house team and supporting staff development Managing bookings and floor plans Ensuring service standards and restaurant presentation are always of the highest level

What We're Looking For:

Previous experience in a similar supervisory role Strong leadership qualities with a hands-on approach Commercial awareness and a drive to grow the business Excellent knowledge of drinks - from wine and spirits to cocktails A sound understanding of food, allergens, and food safety practices A team player with great communication skills at all levels A genuine love for hospitality and delivering exceptional service
