We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Front of House Supervisor to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service while maintaining a smooth operation within the front of house area. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and a solid background in food preparation and service.
Responsibilities
Supervise daily front of house operations, ensuring high standards of service and cleanliness.
Train and manage staff, fostering a positive team environment and encouraging professional development.
Oversee food preparation and presentation, adhering to food safety regulations and ensuring quality standards are met.
Assist with serving customers, providing an exceptional dining experience through attentive service and effective communication.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food production and resolve any issues that may arise during service.
Maintain inventory levels of food and supplies, placing orders as necessary to ensure smooth operations.
Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism, striving to resolve issues promptly.
Implement health and safety protocols within the front of house area to ensure compliance with regulations.
Requirements
Proven experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality or restaurant industry.
Strong culinary skills with experience in food preparation, cooking, and food safety practices.
Excellent team management abilities, demonstrating effective leadership and motivational skills.
Previous experience in a kitchen environment is preferred; barista experience is a plus.
Exceptional communication skills with the ability to interact positively with guests and staff alike.
A solid understanding of restaurant operations, including serving techniques and customer service excellence.
