Morning Shift: 7:30am - 3:30pm (8 hours)
Evening Shift: 3:00pm - 11:00pm (8 hours)
The Front of House Supervisor is responsible for the smooth running of guest-facing operations at the Open Arms Hotel. This includes meeting and greeting guests, taking reservations, serving at the bar and waitressing, arranging supplies and deliveries, and ensuring excellent communication between departments. The role combines guest services, supervision, and hands-on support across both hotel and restaurant settings.
Key Responsibilities
Guest Reception & Reservations
Meeting and greeting guests on arrival
Taking reservations for rooms and restaurant tables
Checking in hotel guests and managing guest queries
Front of House & Restaurant Floor
Supervising the restaurant floor
Serving at the bar and working as a waitress when required
Supporting and coordinating the waiting team
Creating a professional, welcoming atmosphere for all guests
Payments & Administration
Handling guest payments accurately
Accepting, arranging, and organising supplies and deliveries
Team Liaison
Providing feedback and communication between the waiting team, kitchen, and housekeeping
Liaising with housekeeping to ensure rooms and facilities meet hotel standards
Hotel Standards & Events
Carrying out regular checks of guest areas and housekeeping standards
Assisting with hotel events when required
Working Pattern
Full-time position with rotating shifts (morning or evening)
Two days off each week
