Responsibilities

Oversee daily operations of the front of house, ensuring smooth service and guest satisfaction. Supervise and train staff, fostering a positive team environment and encouraging professional development. Manage food preparation and production processes, ensuring adherence to food safety regulations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate food service. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including tables, bar, and waiting areas. Handle guest inquiries and complaints professionally, striving to resolve issues promptly. Assist with scheduling shifts and managing team performance to meet operational needs. Ensure compliance with health and safety standards within the establishment.

Skills

Proven experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality or restaurant industry. Strong culinary skills with experience in food preparation, cooking, and food production. Excellent leadership abilities with a focus on team management and motivation. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices. Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour. Previous experience in barista roles or hotel environments is advantageous. Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to liaise effectively with staff and guests alike.
