Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Front of House Team Leader to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of service.

Five days per week including to include Saturday. Daytime shifts opening hours 9.00am to 5.30pm.

Duties

Supervise and manage the small front of house team, ensuring smooth operations during service hours. Train and mentor staff in barista requirements, and serving practices to enhance their skills and performance. Collaborate with the kitchen team to coordinate food with a timely service delivery. Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism, aiming to exceed customer expectations. Maintain a welcoming atmosphere by fostering a positive team environment and encouraging teamwork. Assist in inventory management and ordering supplies as needed to ensure the smooth running of operations.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is essential. Proven supervisory experience with strong team management skills. Desirable to have knowledge of food preparation to assist on occasion with food preparation. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in food production. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with guests and team members. A passion for delivering outstanding customer service within a fast-paced environment.

Pay: From 12.51 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
