We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Front of House Team Member to join our vibrant team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring they receive exceptional service from the moment they enter. You will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and enhancing the overall dining experience. Your responsibilities will include assisting with guest services, managing orders, and maintaining food safety standards.

Responsibilities

Greet and welcome guests with a friendly and professional demeanour. Take and process customer orders accurately, ensuring all requests are met. Assist in food preparation as needed, adhering to food safety regulations. Upsell menu items effectively to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales. Manage time efficiently to ensure prompt service during busy periods. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including dining spaces and service counters. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of meals. Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism, providing solutions where necessary.

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred but not essential. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting. Basic maths skills for processing payments and managing transactions accurately. Knowledge of food safety practices is advantageous to maintain high standards in food handling. A passion for providing excellent guest services and creating memorable experiences for customers.
