Job Overview

As a Front of House Team Member, you will be the face of our establishment, providing exceptional service to our guests and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Your role is crucial in creating a positive dining experience, from taking orders to serving food and beverages. You will work closely with both the kitchen and the front-of-house team to maintain high standards of hospitality and efficiency.

Duties

Greet guests warmly and provide them with menus Take customer orders accurately and efficiently Serve food and beverages in a timely manner Ensure compliance with food safety regulations during preparation and serving Assist in food preparation as required, maintaining cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen area Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure satisfaction Maintain a clean and organised front-of-house area, including dining tables and service stations Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods

Skills

Strong hospitality skills with a passion for guest services Previous restaurant experience preferred, particularly in a front-of-house role Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately Experience in food preparation or kitchen operations is advantageous Time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment Ability to upsell menu items effectively while maintaining a friendly rapport with guests Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written A proactive approach to teamwork, ensuring all areas are covered during service

Pay: 12.50-16.74 per hour
