Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Front of House Team Member to join our vibrant restaurant team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional hospitality and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. You will assist with food preparation, maintain food safety standards, and support the kitchen staff as needed. Your ability to manage time effectively and upsell menu items will contribute to an outstanding dining experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a friendly and inviting atmosphere. Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, using basic maths skills to process transactions. Assist in food preparation and ensure all food safety regulations are followed. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and high-quality food presentation. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including tables, counters, and service stations. Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales. Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally. Support team members in various tasks as needed to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements

Previous experience in a hospitality or restaurant environment is preferred but not essential. Basic maths skills for handling transactions and order processing. Knowledge of food safety practices is advantageous. Strong time management skills to handle busy periods effectively. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated. A passion for culinary arts and providing excellent customer service is essential. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required. Minimum a year experienced Barista preferred.

Pay: 12.45-14.50 per hour
