Responsibilities

Greet and welcome guests with a warm and friendly attitude. Assist guests with seating arrangements and provide menus promptly. Take food and drinks efficiently. Serve food and beverages while ensuring adherence to food safety standards. Handle cash and card transactions, utilising basic maths skills for accuracy. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including tables and service stations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service delivery. Manage time effectively to ensure all tasks are completed in a timely manner, especially during peak hours. Address guest inquiries or concerns with professionalism and care, providing assistance as needed.

Experience

Previous experience in a hospitality or restaurant environment is preferred but not mandatory. Bartending skills are an advantage, particularly in establishments serving alcoholic beverages. Knowledge of food safety practices is beneficial to ensure compliance with health regulations. Strong time management skills to handle busy periods effectively while maintaining high service standards.
