Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Front of House Team Member to join our vibrant team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring they receive exceptional service from the moment they arrive until their departure. Your responsibilities will include managing guest interactions, supporting food preparation, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere in our establishment.

Responsibilities

Greet and welcome guests with a friendly and professional demeanour. Take orders accurately and efficiently while providing recommendations to enhance the dining experience through upselling. Ensure compliance with food safety standards during food preparation and serving. Assist in the preparation of food items as required, adhering to quality and presentation standards. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including dining tables and service counters. Handle cash transactions accurately, utilising basic maths skills for processing payments. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and address any guest concerns promptly. Provide excellent guest services by responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a courteous manner. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements

Previous experience in a hospitality or restaurant environment is preferred. Familiarity with food safety regulations and practices is essential. Basic culinary skills or kitchen experience would be advantageous. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting. Excellent communication skills with a focus on guest satisfaction. Ability to work well within a team while also being self-motivated when required. A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills related to serving and guest interaction. Pay: 12.50-14.00 per hour
