Overview

Cornwall Gold is a multi-award winning family business where for 35 years we have helped locals and visitors celebrate special moments with incredible jewellery, memorable experiences and beautiful food. We have a new opportunity for an experienced Front of House for our much loved Pantry Pantry Restaurant. You will handle all aspects of front of house whilst working closely with the kitchen to deliver a wonderful experience to our customers during breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea service. We are looking for someone who can help our customers feel welcome every time they visit.

About the role:

Delivering the very best customer service to our customers on a daily basis.

Making teas, coffee and plating up cakes

Effective use of the till

Working closely with the kitchen to ensure food service delivered efficiently and is served from the kitchen to customer tables and also ensuring tables are always kept clean and clear.

Operating the pot wash area to ensure our cutlery and crockery is always clean.

Observing food safety requirements

Requirements

A front of house professional with experience working a busy food service

Barista training is beneficial but not essential as training will be given

You will be passionate about excellent customer service with a confident personality

Conscientious and reliable to take initiative when necessary

Keen to learn and take on food hygiene, barista and service training
