Responsibilities

Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, providing a friendly and professional atmosphere. Assist with seating arrangements and manage reservations efficiently. Take food and drink orders accurately, ensuring all details are noted for the kitchen staff. Support food preparation by assisting in the kitchen as needed, adhering to food safety standards. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including tables, counters, and dining spaces. Handle cash transactions and process payments accurately using basic maths skills. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service flow during busy periods. Address guest inquiries and complaints promptly, providing solutions to enhance their experience.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a customer-facing role is preferred but not essential. Knowledge of food safety practices is highly desirable. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment. Basic maths skills for processing payments and handling cash accurately. A positive attitude with excellent communication skills to engage effectively with guests and colleagues. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required.

Pay: 20,000.00-23,000.00 per year
