We're looking for an enthusiastic and skilled full-time Barista to join our team at The Painted Rooster Cafe.

What we're looking for:
Previous barista training/experience is essential - you'll need to be confident with dialling in, milk texturing, and maintaining high coffee standards.
Weekend availability is required.

Jog Description and Duties
Greet and seat customers with a friendly and professional attitude. Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all dietary requirements are noted. Prepare food items in accordance with safety and hygiene standards, adhering to food safety regulations. Serve food and beverages, including barista duties for coffee and other drinks. Maintain cleanliness of the front of house area, including tables, counters, and kitchen equipment. Handle cash transactions and process payments with basic math skills. Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during busy periods. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
Previous experience in a customer-facing role is preferred. Knowledge of food safety practices is essential. Barista experience or familiarity with coffee preparation is advantageous. Skills in serving food and preparing simple dishes are beneficial. Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately. Strong time management abilities to prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment. A positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and a passion for providing outstanding customer service are crucial for success in this role.
