Responsibilities

Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a friendly and inviting atmosphere. Take orders accurately and efficiently, providing recommendations when necessary. Prepare food items in accordance with food safety standards, ensuring quality and presentation. Operate coffee machines and prepare beverages, utilising barista experience to craft exceptional drinks. Serve food and drinks to customers promptly while maintaining a clean and organised workspace. Handle cash transactions accurately, applying basic math skills for processing payments. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery. Maintain cleanliness of the front of house area, including tables, counters, and dining areas. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure all guests receive prompt service.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential; training will be provided. Knowledge of food safety practices is essential to maintain hygiene standards. Barista experience is advantageous for those interested in beverage preparation. Strong serving skills with an emphasis on customer satisfaction. Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately. Excellent time management abilities to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
