As our

Front Office Coordinator

, you will be responsible for providing support to the Front Office department by performing all administrative duties connected to the arrival, stay and departure of our external, internal and VIP guests and their queries.

As a Master of your Craft, you will...




Have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to connect with others Manage requests promptly, helpfully, politely and with a caring attitude Possess a good command of English and excellent communication skills (via written correspondence, phone and face-to-face) Assign guest rooms according to guest requests and preferences wherever possible Communicate and coordinate between Housekeeping, Front Office and Engineering to ensure all guests have appropriate rooms assigned in a timely manner Coordinate the pre-registration/check-in of arriving groups Assign rooms in order to maximise rooms revenue on a daily basis Be a role model within the department, assisting the team to perform their role when required Complete tasks relevant but not limited to the guest cycle (e.g. administrative duties related to updating the PMS, check-in, stay, check-out and payment compliance) Ensure the business continuity and the guest's relationship with the hotel is intact upon departure Be organised and able to work well under pressure Be proficient in Microsoft Office and have excellent knowledge of Opera Have previous experience as a Receptionist or Rooms Controller.
