A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A PORTER AT OUR HOTEL * Greet all guests with a warm, professional welcome upon arrival.
  • Assist with luggage handling during check-in and check-out.
  • Review daily arrival and departure lists to prepare for guest needs.
  • Offer local knowledge, recommendations, and directions to enhance the guest experience.
  • Coordinate with reception and housekeeping teams to ensure a smooth and seamless operation.
  • Support the front desk during busy periods, helping with guest queries and requests.
  • Set up rooms for early arrivals and respond to any special guest requirements.
  • Assist with booking taxis, storing luggage, and other concierge-style duties.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised lobby and front entrance area.
  • Anticipate guest needs and go above and beyond to exceed expectations.

  • Previous experience in a customer-facing or hospitality role is preferred but not essential.
