to join our growing digital team at Lyles Sutherland. You'll turn quality designs into beautifully built, performant WordPress websites, primarily for clients in the property sector.
We're looking for someone with a strong grasp of front-end development, comfortable working with custom WordPress themes (and ideally Timber/Twig), and who collaborates well with designers and backend developers.
What You'll Be Doing
Build and maintain custom WordPress websites based on designer mockups
Extend or customise existing themes and plugins using PHP, JavaScript, and SCSS
Collaborate with designers, project managers, and back-end developers
Liaise with clients when needed to clarify technical requirements
Stay up-to-date with modern front-end practices and WordPress trends
Maintain Git workflows and deploy projects using Composer/Gulp or similar tools
You Should Have
1+ years
of professional experience in WordPress theme development
Strong front-end skills in HTML5, CSS (incl. SASS), JavaScript
Confidence working with PHP within a WordPress context
Experience using
Advanced Custom Fields (ACF)
and
Gravity Forms
Familiarity with Git for version control
