We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Fryer to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and a keen understanding of kitchen operations. As a Fryer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our meals are prepared to the highest standards of quality and safety, contributing to an exceptional dining experience for our guests.
Duties
Prepare and cook various food items using frying techniques, ensuring adherence to recipes and presentation standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen, including proper storage of ingredients and equipment.
Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure food safety and quality.
Assist in meal preparation by chopping, slicing, and preparing ingredients as needed.
Follow all health and safety regulations, including food safety protocols, to maintain a safe working environment.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient service during busy periods.
Help train new kitchen staff in cooking techniques and equipment usage as required.
Requirements
Previous experience in a restaurant or culinary setting is preferred.
Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and meal preparation processes.
Familiarity with food safety standards and best practices in the kitchen.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues.
