URGENT - ROLLING WEEKLG CONTRACT. We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Fryer. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and a strong understanding of food safety practices. As a Fryer, you will play a crucial role in preparing delicious meals that meet our high standards of quality and taste. This position requires a keen attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook various food items using frying techniques while adhering to established recipes and portion sizes. Ensure all food is cooked to the highest standards of quality, taste, and presentation. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the frying station, including proper storage of ingredients and equipment. Follow all food safety guidelines to ensure the health and safety of both staff and customers. Assist in meal preparation by chopping, slicing, and marinating ingredients as needed. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Monitor cooking times and temperatures to prevent overcooking or undercooking food items.

Skills

Strong knowledge of food safety practices within a restaurant environment. Previous experience in culinary roles, particularly in food preparation or cooking, is advantageous. Ability to work efficiently in a busy kitchen setting while maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in meal preparation processes. A team player who can communicate effectively with kitchen staff and contribute positively to the work environment. Willingness to learn new cooking techniques and adapt to changing menus or recipes as required.

Job Type: Temporary
Contract length: 1 week

Pay: 11.44-15.25 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
