Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Fryer to join. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and frying food items to the highest standards, ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency, also confident to work the front taking orders, payment and wrapping orders. This role offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about food preparation and hospitality, with a focus on delivering excellent customer experiences in a fast-paced environment. The Fryer will work closely with counter staff to maintain smooth operations and uphold food safety standards.

Responsibilities

Prepare potatoes and Fish to be ready for the day Operate fryers safely and efficiently to cook a variety of food items, maintaining consistent quality Ensure all fried foods are cooked to the correct temperature and presentation standards Maintain cleanliness of the fryer area and preparation area Follow food safety protocols at all times Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, supporting overall kitchen operations Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy periods

Skills

Experience in catering, serving or hospitality environments is highly desirable Knowledge of food preparation techniques, especially frying methods Previous restaurant experience is helpful, training will be provided for the right candidate Strong organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure Excellent teamwork and communication skills to coordinate effectively within a busy shop Reliable, keen to work/learn
This role is for somebody wiling to work in a busy fast food takeaway as a fryer and counter staff, confident with customers and working well with the team throughout the winter and busy summer months

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: From 12.30 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 20 per week
