Job Description

We currently have a vacancy for a Fuel Tanker Driver working from our Runcorn Depot. The successful applicant would be required to deliver our products in line with the delivery instructions and in a safe manner ensuring our family run image is maintained at all times. The Ideal candidate would be able to deliver from both Rigid and Articulated vehicles.
Criteria:
HGV Class 1 Licence
ADR class 3 Licence
A CPC qualification
PDP is Required
Digital tacho is mandatory
Previous experience in a similar role in the fuel industry is an advantage
Good communication skills
Numerical and logical reasoning skills are fundamental
Health and safety knowledge is desirable
Responsibilities:
To operate the vehicle and depot equipment as required, following standard operating procedures where applicable.
To be fully conversant with all of the vehicles operations in case of colleague absences and vehicle malfunctions.
To ensure that the company is held in the utmost regard when delivering the product to the customer.
To understand the products and services sold by the sales team.
To recognise the roll that team work has in the company's success and contributes to this through displaying enthusiasm, co-operation and flexibility.
To build relationships with teams throughout the business to ensure excellence in operations and customer service.
Any other duty commensurate of this position as directed by the line manager.
