About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Full Stack Developer to join our team. Using PHP (Laravel as the core framework) and frontend development using Vue.js. You will design and develop robust web applications, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and help shape technical solutions for scalable and high-performance systems. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in a growing and progressive team that values innovation and collaboration

Key Responsibilities:

Backend Development:

? Develop and maintain backend systems primarily in PHP using Laravel.

? Design and optimise database schemas to ensure efficient and secure data handling.

? Build and integrate APIs for seamless client-server communication.

? Lead architectural discussions, making informed decisions to support scalability and performance.

? Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment strategies, leveraging Docker for containerisation.

? Write clean, maintainable, and testable backend code following industry best practices.

? Troubleshoot and resolve backend issues to ensure stability and reliability.

Frontend Development:

? Collaborate with designers and frontend developers to deliver seamless, user-friendly experiences using Vue.js (Vue3 composition API).

? Understanding of state management in the context of both composables and Pinia.

? Implement responsive, accessible, and visually appealing interfaces.

? Integrate APIs into the frontend to ensure cohesive and efficient functionality.

? Optimise frontend performance and address usability issues.

? Use modern styling frameworks like Tailwind CSS to enhance UI development efficiency.

General:

? Work closely with the design team to ensure technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.

? Mentor junior developers, fostering a culture of collaboration and technical excellence.

? Contribute to the overall technical strategy and architecture of projects.

Must-Have Skills & Experience:

? A minimum of 8 years of professional experience in full-stack or backend development.

? Expert-level knowledge of PHP and the Laravel framework, including Eloquent ORM, middleware, and service containers.

? Strong proficiency in modern Javascript with experience in Vue.js or similar frameworks.

? Advanced understanding of database design and optimisation, particularly with MySQL.

? Proven experience with RESTful API design and integration.

? Proficiency in version control using Git.

? Familiarity with containerisation technologies like Docker for development and production environments.

? Strong focus on writing secure, performant, and maintainable code.

Nice to Have:

? Familiarity with testing tools such as PHPUnit, Vitest, Cypress, or Playwright.

? Shopify development

? Experience with Craft CMS or similar platforms.

? Understanding of DevOps principles and tools for infrastructure management.
