Full Stack Developer

to help take our online presence to the next level.

We pride ourselves on combining expert industry knowledge with excellent customer service--online and in-store. As we continue to expand, we're investing heavily in improving our digital infrastructure, site performance, and customer experience.

Our Tech Stack

Frontend:

Vue.js, Nuxt.js, Tailwind CSS

Backend:

Python, FastAPI, ElasticSearch, MongoDB, BigCommerce

Infrastructure:

Debian servers on Linode, Nginx, Docker

Your Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and optimize Arrow Electrical's e-commerce architecture (frontend, backend, and server infrastructure) Collaborate closely with the websales team to implement new features, troubleshoot issues, and improve user experience Work alongside SEO and marketing teams to enhance website visibility and performance through technical SEO improvements Contribute to evolving technical architecture by adopting new tools and technologies as needed

What We're Looking For

2+ years

of professional experience with a JavaScript framework (Vue.js preferred, but experience with React, Angular, etc. is welcome)

1+ year

of professional experience with Python (FastAPI or similar frameworks a plus) Solid understanding of core development principles, both front-end and back-end Good working knowledge of databases (MongoDB or other NoSQL/SQL DBs) Comfortable working with Linux-based server environments and tools like Docker Strong communication skills--able to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders A quick learner, curious by nature, and comfortable stepping outside your comfort zone when needed (e.g., reading docs, testing new tools, adapting to changes)

Nice to Have (Bonus Skills)

Experience with Nuxt.js or SSR (Server-Side Rendering) Understanding of ElasticSearch and BigCommerce integrations Familiarity with Nginx server configuration and performance optimisation Prior experience working on SEO-focused web development
