Job Description

We're looking for a skilled Software Developer to join a collaborative, quality-driven tech team based in Plymouth. If you're passionate about writing clean, scalable code and want to work on projects that genuinely transform businesses, this could be the right next step.

You'll be working closely with other developers and clients to turn ideas into beautifully built cloud-based applications - bringing both creativity and clarity to your code.

What You'll Be Doing

Planning & Architecture
Help shape project direction and architecture decisions to ensure solutions are robust, scalable, and aligned with client goals.

Development
Write well-crafted code for web-based systems, primarily using React (with TypeScript and Vite) for frontends and Laravel PHP for APIs. Occasionally, you'll also contribute to mobile apps using tools like Flutter.

Deployment
Use CI/CD pipelines (e.g. GitHub Actions) to deploy cloud-based applications efficiently and securely.

AI Integration
Leverage AI tools during development and contribute to projects that embed AI functionality -- with the team aiming to stay ahead in AI's practical applications.

You're a Great Fit If You:

Enjoy solving real-world problems through technology. Communicate clearly and work well in a team that values openness and collaboration. Can work through ambiguity with confidence and creativity. Have experience building scalable web applications using: React (TypeScript, Vite) Laravel PHP Postgres/MySQL for database design Are familiar with cloud deployments and DevOps tools like GitHub Actions. Are curious about (or experienced in) incorporating AI into development workflows.

Bonus experience with:

Flutter, Supabase, TailwindCSS, AWS, Clerk, Cursor
