Job Summary

We are looking for a Full Stack Developer to join our growing marketing-led business in Plymouth. This is our first in-house developer hire, giving you the unique opportunity to take control of the technology stack, collaborate with cutting-edge partners, and build your own team as the company scales.

Duties

Own and manage Lokkaroom's web, front end and back end platform. Work with our external tech partners (Noumi, Stripe, Shopify, Thinkific, Eventcube and Hedera Translate business requirements into secure, scalable, production-ready code Optimise user flows, membership programs, e-commerce and digital receipt experiences Integrate third-party APIs and components across payments, e-commerce, ticketing and learning Lead technical strategy decisions and contribute to overall product direction Handle occasional client-facing calls with our marketing/commercial teams Potential to recruit and manage a development team as we scale as a business

What we're looking for

4+ years full stack developer experience Strong API integration experience Experience in e-commerce, ticketing or payment platforms Excellent debugging and communication skills Plymouth-based and office based only (no remote/hybrid) A bonus if the candidate has worked in a start-up in previous experience and has sports-industry experience

Key Performance Indicators

Carry out a full audit of the systems and write a roadmap in 60 days Assess partners and skills and recommended roadmap for in-house control; a report will need to be produced within 75 days Work with the management team to agree new features, timings and costs Fix urgent bugs and ensure uptime during overhaul Advise on realistic 90-day and 180-day goals for Lokkaroom and associated sites Review options around apps; a report will need to be produced within 60 days

The candidate for this role has to be in Plymouth This is an office based role - we do not offer no hybrid/remote working References and code samples will be required

Pay: 50,000.00-56,000.00 per year
