Full Stack Developer (React & Node.js)



We are looking for a

Full Stack Developer

to join our growing tech team. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining both the

front-end and back-end

of our technology, ensuring a seamless user experience and efficient system performance.

Must-have skills & experience



? Strong proficiency in

React.js, JavaScript (ES6+), Node.js, HTML, and CSS



? Experience developing

RESTful APIs and microservices



? Strong understanding of

relational databases



? Experience with

Git and version control workflows



? Strong problem-solving and debugging skills

? Ability to write

clean, maintainable, and scalable code



? Excellent

communication skills

and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team

Nice-to-have skills



? Familiarity with

AWS services

(Lambda, API Gateway, S3, RDS, etc.)

? Experience with

GraphQL



? Experience working with

serverless architectures



? A

degree in Computer Science

or a related field

Android development experience

Key responsibilities

Develop and maintain

both front-end and back-end technology

Design and implement

scalable, secure, and high-performance APIs

Write clean, functional, and well-documented code

Troubleshoot, debug, and optimise

existing systems

Android Development (Native & Kotlin)



While this is primarily a Full Stack role, experience in

Android development

would be highly beneficial. If you have skills in

native Android development using Kotlin

, you will have the opportunity to contribute to our mobile applications as well. This includes:

Developing and maintaining

Android applications with

Kotlin



? Ensuring

high performance and responsiveness

across different devices

?

Integrating mobile applications

with RESTful APIs and backend services

? Optimising applications for performance, usability, and accessibility

? Ensuring app security and compliance with best practices

? Collaborating with front-end and backend developers to

ensure seamless mobile and web integration

This is a hybrid role working at least three days a week in our Portsmouth office and the other days at home. Preference will be given to candidates who can work flexibly from 10am to 6pm, 10:30am to 6:30pm or 11am to 7pm and who can provide some weekend cover (days in lieu will be given).
