Job Overview

Zebra EM is seeking a Full-Stack Developer/Engineer to support the design, development, and delivery of scalable software solutions used across industrial and renewable energy environments.

This role offers the opportunity to work across the full technology stack, contributing to web applications, data platforms, CMMS-style systems, dashboards, and client portals. You will work closely with the Chief Technical Officer, subcontractors, and clients to deliver practical, production-ready solutions.

Responsibilities

Designing, developing, and maintaining web-based software applications for industrial and energy-sector clients Building and managing databases using PostgreSQL, MySQL, Azure, or similar platforms Writing, optimising, and maintaining SQL queries and schemas Developing front-end applications with a focus on usability, performance, and responsiveness Building and maintaining backend services and APIs to support system integrations Supporting authentication, access control, and application security Working with cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure for application hosting and services Supporting data visualisation and reporting tools such as Power BI or similar analytics platforms Providing technical support for live systems and ongoing software developments Assisting with project delivery, documentation, and coordination with internal and external teams

Requirements

2-3 years' experience in full-stack software development Competent knowledge of at least one programming language (Python preferred) Working knowledge of JavaScript / TypeScript and modern web development practices Experience working with relational databases and SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar) Familiarity with building and consuming RESTful APIs Experience or exposure to cloud platforms (AWS and/or Azure) Comfortable working in a collaborative, Agile-style environment Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Minimum of A-Levels, Apprenticeship, or equivalent experience in IT, Computer Science, or a related field
