Location





Our Full Stack Engineer will be an integral part of our Engineering teams in EMEA. This role is based remotely as a full-time employee in the UK, Ireland, Estonia, Israel, the Netherlands, and Sweden. We are also open to contractors in Eastern Europe and Portugal.

The Opportunity



As a Full Stack Software Engineer in the

Kubernetes House

, you will play a key role in building and evolving the foundational infrastructure and services that power

PerfectScale

for Compute

. You'll work on scalable, multi-cloud systems that enhance performance, cost efficiency, and automation across Kubernetes environments.



You'll design, develop, and maintain critical platform components, including cloud integrations and intelligent cost optimization workflows. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the infrastructure that underpins the DoiT and PerfectScale partnership and directly influences how customers optimize and scale their compute workloads.


Responsibilities




Collaborate with product, backend, and frontend engineers to deliver elegant, well-thought-out solutions for complex problems. Implement features end-to-end - from proposal and design through implementation, testing, and maintenance.
Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following engineering best practices, and contribute to code reviews that raise overall quality.
Improve the health and maintainability of the codebase, proactively identifying and addressing technical debt. Participate in team planning and provide thoughtful feedback during design discussions to identify challenges and opportunities early.


Qualifications




5+ years of software development experience

, ideally full stack (Go lang, React + Node.js/TypeScript) or strong backend/frontend, willing to expand skills. Strong understanding of

microservices architecture, API design

, and

cloud-native environments

(AWS, GCP, and/or Azure). Familiarity with

cloud billing models

,

cost optimization

, and

cloud commitment management

(e.g., Savings Plans, CUDs, SPs, RIs).
Excellent communication and collaboration skills in English, both written and verbal.



Bonus Points




Experience working with

Kubernetes

and

containerized applications

in production environments. Knowledge of

DevOps practices and tooling

(CI/CD, GitOps, Docker, Kubernetes). Solid understanding of

databases

(relational and non-relational) like BigQuery, ClickHouse, Firestore
