Job Title: Full Time Bar & Floor Staff

Department: The John Hewitt, Belfast.

Reports To: John Hewitt GM.

Salary:

12.21 per hour plus 3 - 4 per hour in card tips share.

Positions available:

.1 x 30-40 hours per week

We're looking to grow our staff at the John Hewitt with a new team members - experience on a food service floor of cafe would be advantageous for this role, but not necessary, we're looking for people with great attention to detail, a commitment to providing a world class experience, and a love for all things Boundary!?

Shifts will include weekends and evenings.

Bar & Floor Staff will be involved in the day to day running of the bar. The job will include, but not be limited to:

1. Providing a world class customer experience

2. Ensure the pub is kept clean and tidy at all times

3. Uphold the Boundary values, policies and procedures

About Boundary.

We are a Cooperative Brewery in Belfast owned and run by our members. Opening our doors in 2014, we were the first brewery in NI to bring together modern US styles with the more traditional Belgian/French style beers.

Boundary is a young and growing brewery in a young and growing beer scene. Having opened our first two venues in 2022, we are now beginning to expand again, deepening and furthering our routes to markets, with aspirations to open additional venues as well.

As a Cooperative, you will become an employee member. That means that you will have a meaningful ownership of the brewery that you work for.

? Ensures adherence to company handbook, hospitality playbook and standards of service throughout the venue

Appearance and Maintenance of Premises and Cellar Equipment

? Upholds cleanliness standards through premises

? Ensures that issues that affect the good working order of any equipment are communicated back to the GM immediately and dealt with were possible

? Assists with stock take and management of any discrepancies

Communication with Venue Management Team, Boundary Team and Company Directors

? Maintains confidentiality of all company information and is forthcoming in reporting all policy and procedure violations or wrongdoing to the GM

? Supports open communication with wider Boundary team

? Deeply passionate about hospitality, and helping others to become the same

? Willingness to champion Boundary and demonstrate passion for its work

? Uncompromising standards with respect to quality

? Open to giving and receiving constructive feedback and challenge

? A desire to learn and share knowledge.

We are wanting to hire team members that are passionate about world class customer service and about all things Boundary! If you also have experience in a customer service role, or experience in upholding high levels of service, cleanliness and adherence to procedure, that's great! However, you do not need to have experience to apply. As duties will include serving alcohol, applicants must be a minimum of 18 years of age.

Pay: 12.21-16.21 per hour
