We are seeking a friendly and efficient

full time baristas

to join our brand new team. Edine is Korean speialty coffee shop, which offers a thoughtfully curated menu featuring classic espresso-based drinks, handcrafted pourovers and Aeropress brews, unique Korean-inspired non-espresso beverages, and a selection of simple yet delicious toasties and sandwiches. We're looking for someone with great customer service skills, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn. Basic knowledge of dialing in grinders and pulling espresso shots is a plus, but don't worry -- full training will be provided. What matters most is that you're eager to learn, happy to run coffees, and can thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and speciality drinks, in accordance with company standards. Handle food preparation tasks such as assembling snacks or light meals when required. Maintain strict adherence to food safety and hygiene regulations at all times. Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Organise workspace efficiently to ensure smooth service flow during busy periods. Manage time effectively to serve multiple customers promptly while maintaining quality standards. Keep the counter and seating area clean, organised, and inviting for customers. Follow health and safety procedures consistently to uphold a safe environment for staff and customers.

Qualifications

Previous

barista experience

is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates eager to learn. Knowledge of

food safety

standards and procedures is desirable. Experience in

serving

customers with professionalism and courtesy. Basic

maths

skills for handling transactions accurately. Ability to manage

time effectively

during busy periods to ensure prompt service. Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanour to create positive customer interactions. Organised with an eye for detail to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards at all times.
