Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide support to individuals in the comfort of their own home . Your role will be to support and enhance the quality of life for our clients by assisting them with daily activities, ensuring their comfort, and promoting their independence. This may include personal care, meal preparation and days out such as shopping trips and lunch outings. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a genuine passion for helping others. Candidates must also have a full UK driving licence and be able to acquire class 1 business insurance. We currently DO NOT have any sponsorship positions available.

Responsibilities

Assist individuals with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming. Support individuals in following their care plans and achieving their personal goals. Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the well-being of clients. Help with mobility and transportation needs, including driving clients to appointments or social activities when required. Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in client condition to the appropriate personnel. Ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for all clients Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care.

Experience

Previous experience in a care is not essential. A friendly smile and caring nature Proficiency in English is required for effective communication with clients and team members. Basic IT skills are advantageous for maintaining records and communicating within the team. ( use of a mobile phone ) A valid driving licence is essential for those who may need to transport clients as part of their duties. Strong interpersonal skills are essential to build trusting relationships with clients and their families.
