Job Description

Reliable, bubbly and organised Carers to assist Monday-Friday for a young enthusiastic Animation student and writer in an electric wheelchair.

You'll be helping me with:

Washing/dressing/grooming - e.g. assisting with bath, shaving, hair brushing and skincare Personal Care - Toileting, Hoisting, Washing Helping with cough assist machine, chest physio and manual cough assist when needed make-up and nail varnish when needed Cooking/food prep - assisting with making meals Assisting with pets - feeding, brushing, washing, helping with walking and letting them into the garden Assisting with travel - e.g. driving my car, coming with me on public transport into London, with potential for overseas travel for school General Housekeeping - e.g. keeping environment clean and tidy; washing and hoovering floors, cleaning ensuite, changing beds, tidying clutter Assisting with washing and ironing of clothes, towels, bedsheets Assisting with animation projects - E.G. stop motion recordings and model making
Hours: 8AM-6PM with flexibility on weekends for nights/late

Starting Salary - 15 per hour; 16 for weekends and nights

Requirements:

Must have previous Care Experience Must be comfortable with dogs Must be comfortable on public transport Must have good understanding of written English Must have a Driving License and be comfortable driving my vehicle Good time keeping and time management skills Good organisational skills Independent worker Calm, patient and kind temperament
