Overview

We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in culinary arts and a proven track record of food production, food safety, and team management. As a Chef, you will be responsible for creating exceptional dishes that delight our guests while ensuring the highest standards of quality and presentation. This role requires leadership skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food preparation and service. Develop and execute menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and culinary trends. Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in accordance with health regulations. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery. Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed. Prepare a variety of dishes, demonstrating creativity and attention to detail. Ensure all kitchen equipment is maintained and operated safely.

Experience

Proven experience as a Chef/ Cook in a restaurant / cafe or hospitality setting is essential. Strong culinary skills with experience in food preparation and cooking techniques. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in the kitchen environment. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. A passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional dining experiences to guests. Previous experience in menu development is advantageous but not required.
