Job Description

Due to expansion, Clayton Industrial Services are seeking to recruit 2 full time Class 1 ADR tanker drivers based at our Winchester depot.

The role will mainly include operating road tankers carrying Class 3 flammable liquids working with a team of 6, for a family owned business. A regular day includes collection and deliveries to sites based in Hampshire, West Sussex and Surrey averaging 2-3 drops per day. We currently operate a modern and well-maintained fleet of 460-500BHP Volvo FH tractor units with general purpose road barrels, vacuum tankers and a low loader.

Work required will be Monday to Friday days with optional weekends when required

Start times vary between 04:00-06:00 and average 9-11hr shifts, dependant on workload.

Nights away are occasional and optional, with amaximum of 2 to 3 per week if wanted.

Tanker experience preferred but training can be given

C+E Licence must be held for minimum of 2 years with no more than 6 points

Candidates must have an up to date DCPC & must also posses an ADR Class 3 flammable liquids with tanks.

16.50 per hour guaranteed 9.5hrs per day. (40,755pa guaranteed before overtime)

21 per hour overtime after 10hrs

28 Days holiday pay including bank holidays

Company pension provided

Any Saturdays, Sundays or Bank Holidays worked are a guaranteed minimum of 10hrs at 21
