We are currently seeking a Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting plumbing materials to various locations in a timely and safe manner.
Duties
- Drive company van to deliver plumbing materials to sites based in and around Yorkshire, Nottinghamshire and Lancashire. Collection of materials and goods from suppliers for onward delivery to site
- Load and unload delivery items
- Communicate effectively with customers, suppliers and colleagues regarding delivery schedules
- Follow delivery routes efficiently
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks
- Adhere to all safety regulations while driving
Requirements
- Experience as a Delivery Driver for a medium sized Company- Ability to handle heavy lifting when loading and unloading items- Valid UK driving licence - clean licence essential- Excellent communication skills- Familiarity with the geographical areas around Yorkshire, Nottinghamshire an Lancashire is desirable- Commercial driving experience is a plus as is some knowledge of plumbing commodities
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: 12.95-13.30 per hour
Expected hours: 37 - 45 per week
