We are seeking a young, dedicated and energetic Dental Nurse to join our dental practice. The successful candidate will support dentists during procedures, ensure patient comfort, and uphold high standards of hygiene and safety. Duties

Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, ensuring smooth workflow and patient comfort Prepare treatment rooms with the necessary instruments and materials prior to appointments Provide patients with pre- and post-treatment care instructions Maintain strict infection control standards, including sterilisation of equipment and surfaces Experience with SOE Exact dental software Monitor patient wellbeing throughout treatments, offering reassurance and support as needed Record detailed notes of procedures, patient information, and treatment plans accurately in the practice management system Support administrative tasks such as appointment scheduling and patient correspondence using IT systems Ensure the dental environment remains clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety regulations

Qualifications

Proven experience or qualification in nursing in a dental setting Strong patient care skills with a caring and empathetic approach Perfect communication skills in English, both verbal and written Good IT literacy to manage electronic records efficiently Organisational skills to prioritise tasks effectively in a busy environment Ability to work well within a team whilst maintaining attention to detail Knowledge of infection control protocols and health & safety standards is desirable
