Summary

We are seeking a Dispensing Assistant to join our team at Staploe Pharmacy in Soham. In this role, you will support the pharmacy team by accurately dispensing medications and assisting with patient care, contributing to our mission of promoting health and well-being in the community.

Responsibilities

Assist pharmacists in dispensing prescriptions accurately and efficiently. Provide excellent patient care and support medication management. Maintain precise records of medication dispensation. Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations and safety standards. Support inventory management and stock control. Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals. Assist in the preparation of medication and health advice. Contribute to a welcoming and professional pharmacy environment.

Qualifications

Experience as a pharmacy dispenser or in a similar role (desired). Knowledge of medication administration and pharmacy procedures. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent communication and patient service skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Familiarity with pharmacy software and record-keeping. A proactive approach to patient safety and confidentiality. Additional qualifications in healthcare or pharmacy are a plus.

Pay: 12.26-12.85 per hour
