Job Overview

We are seeking a bar supervisor to assist and deputise the bar manager's day off and through busy periods. The Pear Tree is open 7 days a week; busiest at the weekends, holidays and festival periods. We are looking for a committed, proactive supervisor who enjoys working in a fast paced environment and works well under pressure. To ensure that customers receive excellent drinks and food service as well as help promote and grow the business.

Responsibilities

Assisting with the management of the business aspects of the bar Leading a team of staff through busy days setting enforcing quality and safety controls Planning and taking part in promotional events

Experience

Restaurant and bar work experience Strong understanding of business management Computer, problem solving and customer experience skills Communication and interpersonal skills Willingness to work during peak hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays Delegate responsibilities effectively and maximise resources
