We are seeking an enthusiastic, qualified, and experienced

Full-Time Gymnastics Coach

to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about coaching, capable of working with gymnasts of all ages and abilities, and committed to helping athletes achieve their personal best in a safe, structured, and supportive environment.

Main Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging, progressive gymnastics sessions across a range of age groups and skill levels (recreational to competitive) Teach core gymnastics skills with an emphasis on technique, form, and safety Prepare gymnasts for competitions, events, and badge/award schemes (e.g. British Gymnastics proficiency awards) Provide positive and constructive feedback to gymnasts to aid development Monitor and record athlete progress and development Ensure all sessions are delivered in accordance with health and safety regulations and safeguarding procedures Assist with the organisation of in-house events, competitions, displays, and holiday programmes Collaborate with other coaches and staff to maintain high standards within the club Attend regular team meetings and ongoing CPD (Continuing Professional Development) opportunities Set up and pack down equipment as required for sessions

Essential Requirements:

Coaching qualification in gymnastics (General, Artistic, or other recognised discipline) Previous experience coaching children and young people in a gymnastics setting Up-to-date Safeguarding and First Aid certificates (or willingness to complete training) Valid DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check (or willingness to undergo one) Strong communication, motivational, and organisational skills Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends

Desirable:

Higher-level coaching qualification (Level 2/3+) Experience preparing gymnasts for regional or national competitions Additional qualifications in related disciplines (e.g. Trampolining, Tumbling, Acrobatics) Experience working with children with additional needs

Pay: 22,000.00-30,000.00 per year
