Job Description
Full Time HGV Class 2 driver required in Ampthill, BedfordOur client has been providing a high quality logistics and storage service throughout mainland UK, Northern Ireland and Europe since 1973.They are looking to expand their full-time driving team with the addition of a Class 2 Driver with hours of work including days, nights and weekends when the workload dictatesIf you enjoy being an HGV Class 2 driver you will get:
- xc2xa330,000-xc2xa337,000 per annum
- Minimum 40 hours/week
- 20 days paid annual leave + 8 statutory holidays
- Tax-free meal allowance xc2xa32/day
- Long-haul same-day deliveries/collections
- Multi-drop pallet network Class 2 work
- Loading and unloading of vehicles both at the depot and at customer sites
- Completion of customer paperwork and use of electronic signature capture device
- UK Driving Licence with no more than six penalty points
- Driver Qualification Card (DQC) and Digi Tacho Card
- Physically active and Excellent communication skills
- Accommodating to variable working hours
- Two years' experience desirable, but not essential
