Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical repairs and maintenance, with the ability to diagnose issues efficiently and effectively. Responsibilities

Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles and machinery to identify issues and determine necessary repairs. Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, brake replacements, and tyre rotations. Diagnose mechanical problems using diagnostic equipment and tools. Repair or replace defective parts, ensuring all work meets safety regulations and manufacturer specifications. Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed on each vehicle or piece of equipment. Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality service delivery. Keep the workshop clean and organised, adhering to health and safety standards at all times.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Mechanic or in a similar role within the automotive or machinery repair industry. Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems. Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment for troubleshooting purposes. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Relevant qualifications or certifications in automotive technology or mechanical engineering are advantageous. A valid driving licence is preferred for test driving vehicles post-repair.
