Full Time Driver required to join Global Service Group (GSG) for a contract based in Manchester. The role will be collecting water samples from a maximum of 6 locations but will involve driving up to 300 miles per night.

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Shift: Monday to Friday

Start time will be around 5pm and consist of an 8 hour night plus 30 minute unpaid break

Collection of samples from our clients' fixed sites every night

Delivery of samples in a reasonable timeframe and in good condition

Driving at all times in a safe and appropriate manner; always courteous to other road users

Ensuring the temperature control of the vehicle's fridge is maintained at all times.

Developing and maintaining a good professional relationship with staff.

Maintaining a degree of flexibility on collection runs to allow for additional requests and traffic delays.

Maintaining a smart appearance of both driver and vehicle; project a positive public image.

THE PERSON

To be successful in this role you will be motivated, punctual, dedicated, and someone who gets things done.

Able to respond to any holiday, sickness or breakdowns cover when required for any of the routes.
